Finnish Pinball League is a series of 6 annual one-day tournaments, all played with the same tournament format:
Match-play head-to-head qualifications in two or three groups of 11-16 players. Top12 qualifiers advance to the single-elimination play-offs, top4 qualifiers receiving a bye. Play-off matches best of three, the final is best of five games. Average number of participants in the events was 32 in 2014. The maximum number of participants is limited to 42 or 48 depending on the hosting location.
Signing up to the league can be done at Finnish pinball forum flipperit.net prior the league year, but players outside the league are also welcome to participate, as long as the maximum number of participants hasn't been reached.
