Tournament Date: January 25, 2025

2024 New Zealand National Championship!

The top 48 performers over 2024 qualify to play in the NZ Champs at District28 Arcade in Pukekohe - Sat/Sun/Mon 25/26/27 January.

Qualifying: Sat 25th 9:30am.
- 7 rounds of 4 player match play
- 3 games per round
- Software will choose a bank of three games from the banks available - one new game, one mid, one old.
- Player order will automatically rotate each game.
- Top 24 make finals
- Top 8 receive 1 bye.

Finals: Sunday 26th 9am
Top 24 play off, best of 5 matches head to head.
- Top 8 receive one bye.
- Highest seed picks a bank of games and has games 1,3,5.
- Lower seed picks a bank of games, and has games 2 and 3.
- Games in each bank can be played in any order, but not more than once in a 5 game match.


This event is the Official IFPA NZ Championship and receives 150% points boost.

The winner of the NZ National Championship receives qualification to the IFPA World Championship (along with the #1 ranked NZ player as of December 31st)

Top 16 place getters will receive prize money, gathered from the $1 IFPA fee you have been paying to play in tournaments over the 2024 year. These amounts will be announced prior to the event.

Three days of events, Saturday/Sunday/Monday.

While the NZ Champs Main Event is for the top 48 2024 qualifiers, everyone can play in all the other two events over the weekend.
