MFLadies Quarterly Spring Edition: All women and non-binary players are welcome to join us at our Quarterly Women’s Tournaments.
This tournament will be held Saturday 5/31 at 11am sharp. Doors will be open at Lynn’s Arcade by 10am. Price for entry is $25 for non members and $5 for members.
Qualifying format: 13 rounds of group Matchplay - 1 game per round - 7/5/3/1 or 7/4/1 Scoring - Swiss between rounds - top 12 players advance (depending on attendance number of finalists may be adjusted). We will have a break after 6 rounds and another break after qualifying.
Finals Format - top 4 get a bye in the first round of 12 players - Group Matchplay - 3 games per round - 7/5/3/1 scoring - All 3 games chosen by top seed in each group per round - Choice of games must include one classic and one modern game - top seed chooses initial player order - games 2 and 3 player order is chosen by lowest to highest scorer from previous game - you cannot pick the same game during the entire finals - Top 2 players move to the next round - final four players, then …. Winner!!
