League play consist of 7 sessions.
Session 1
5 games are played. Players play in randomly assigned groups. Players earn points by how they do against all other players that night. Points are awarded on a sliding scale, 24 points for 1st, 23 for 2nd, etc.
Session 2
5 games are played. Players play in groups based on session 1 totals. Top 4 scores from session 1 play in a group, 5-8 play in a group, etc. Players earn points on how they do against all other players on a sliding scale similar to session 1. Players can also earn bonus points. 1 bonus point is awarded to the player in each group that earned the highest score for their group. 1 bonus point is awarded for the person with the overall highest score on each game.
Session 3-5
5 games are played and scoring is similar to session 2. Player assignment for groups is based on predicted standings.
Session 6
5 games are played and scoring is similar to session 2-5. Player assignment is based on actual ordered standings.
Session 7
Players are divided into 2 divisions based on total points accrued during sessions 1-6 with the best 4 of 6 scores being used.
Top 12 players play in A division, remaining players in B division
Players play in an elimination style tournament
Round 1
Top 4 seeds have a bye
2 groups of 4 play 3 games, each game awards point by finish, 4/2/1/0, after 3 games top 2 players advance.
Bottom 2 players play in a similarly styled round to determine final positions 9-12
Round 2
Top 4 seeds are seeded in
2 groups of 4 play 3 games, each game awards point by finish, 4/2/1/0, after 3 games top 2 players advance.
Bottom 2 players play in a similarly styled round to determine final positions 5-8
Round 3
Final four players play 4 games, scoring is similar to rounds 1,2. Total score at the end of the round determines position. Ties go to single game playoff.
Finishing positions determine points awarded for the tournament. 1st 60 points, 2nd- 55 points, Etc.
A players final league position is determined by adding their best 4/6 scores from sessions 1-6 with the points awarded by their tournament finishing position.
