$20 entry, games on freeplay all day for tournament players, prize pool and drawings TBA. Special awards for anyone dressing up in corn-related garb or otherwise embracing the COB as a way of life.
The Pinball Haven Peoria Inaugural COB Max Matchplay will have a noon registration time for warmups, with a planned 1 pm start with qualifying through 5 pm in a 2 player head-to-head format because Chris says so.
Finals will begin after a dinner break in an amazing race format because Chris and his pinball loving kids like to eat food.
Games will be set up for fast play (extra balls off, ball saves reduced, outlane adjustments in some cases, tighter tilt bobs) to maximize rounds because Chris wants to win.
Finals field will be maximized to just under 50% of field that completes all rounds of qualifying, and ties that cross the 50% line will not make the finals.
Hopefully Chris plays well enough to make the finals since this tournament has been set up to appease his voracious appetite for pinball competition and his absolute determination to take off work at every single opportunity to play more pinball!
