Southern Illinois Pinball Derby 2025

@Atomic Pinball Arcade - 102 Whitelaw Ave Wood River, IL

Sunday - April 13th, 2025

Doors Open: 9:00am
Tourney Start: 10:30am

Entry Fee: $20 (admission to arcade, all games on free play!)

-Format-

Qualifying: Group Matchplay - 5 Rounds of two-game banks(10 games total). Tiered Swiss Pairings with IFPA(7,5,3,1) scoring.

Derby Finals: The top 16-20(depending on turnout) in standings after qualifying will advance to an elimination format where the full 18(example) players will play game one and the player with the lowest score will be eliminated. The remaining 17 players will play game two and the lowest score will be eliminated. This process continues until one player is remaining. Notes- Once a player beats the current low score on a game they will advance to the next game and join the queue to play, therefore many games will be going on simultaneously to quicken the process.

There will also be a B Division Finals for the top (?) players who do not make the main finals. The number of players making B will be dependent on total number of entries. B Division will be limited to players below a pre-determined IFPA world ranking(tba depending on field).

Trophies to Top Four Finishers!!! In addition the winner will earn a FREE RESERVED entry into the Stern Pro Circuit Winter Bash - Year End Tournament taking place on December 13/14th!!!

IFPA Sanctioned and will be played for State and World Pinball Ranking Points.
