Finals Format

Location: The Wickham Hotel - 308 Wickham St Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
Cost: $15 per person ($10 to prizes kitty, $5 for machines and venue)
10am warm up
11am comp start

Format: From 11am to 4pm players will be asked to play and record 2 rounds on each of the 4 machines. 4pm will be the cut-off: if players have not completed all games by 4pm they will have only completed games used to determine finalists. Scores for each machine will be ranked highest to lowest. Points will be allocated to each player based on their rankings for each machine and then added together to determine overall rankings. The top 8 players will advance to a seeded, double elimination, head to head play off using the Brackelope software to determine a winner. The final will be best of three match. An Australian brewery will be sponsoring the event with a case of beer going to the winner each month. Points will accumulated on a monthly basis. A system for the finals in November or December will be decided on through the year. Cash and merch prizes will be on offer for finalists. The format for this event may vary from month to month.
