The DFW Pinball League continues with its TENTH stop for 2025 with another MASSIVE IFPA CERTIFIED EVENT.
This will be the 2ND ANNUAL BOSQUE RIVER BRAWL at THE PINHOUSE
Hosted by: Pinhouse Pinball and the McMullin family!
The Main Event (which is Saturday and Sunday only) will be have a 200% TGP value
AND
will be an IFPA Certified event (IFPA Certified tournaments receive an event value boost to 125%).
There will $2000 total in cash payouts at this tournament -- this will be CASH, not Paypal, etc ...
Cash will be paid out in BOTH the A and B Divisions so everyone has a chance!
There will be trophies and other prizes too!

SIDE TOURNAMENT -> Max Matchplay Qualifying / Strikes Finals: FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM (doors open/warmup time at 9:00 AM).
SIDE TOURNAMENT -> Beat the Clock Qualifying/Amazing Race Finals: FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 around (~approx) 5:30 PM (after a break between the two tournaments AND 15 minutes warmup time)
MAIN EVENT Qualifying -> SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM (doors open/warmup at 9:00 AM).
MAIN EVENT Finals (Top 24 in A, Next 16 eligible players in B) -> SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM (doors open/warmup at 9:00 AM).
Again: FOR ALL 3 TOURNAMENTS: Warmup is only allowed AFTER the player checks in for the tournament - please check-in FIRST!
COST, PAYOUT, WAITLIST AND REFUND TERMS:
If playing in the MAIN EVENT, cost is $63 per person plus platform fees for Eventbrite! Your Main Event entry INCLUDES entry into the side tournaments as well. All three (3) tournaments ARE IFPA sanctioned!
The two (2) side tournaments are UNCAPPED on attendance! The more the merrier!
If SKIPPING the Main Event (or if you didn't get in before it sold out), then the cost for the side tournaments, payable at the door, is - $15 each or $25 total for both.
Refunds will be offered through Eventbrite until 14 days prior to the event. No refunds will be issued for any reason after that date.
If you are added to the waitlist and a spot comes open, you must respond to the Eventbrite notification within 36 hours. Otherwise the spot will "Expire" and be offered to the next person on the waitlist. Please watch you email for Eventbrite notifications!
For the MAIN EVENT, part of each person's entry goes towards the prize pool and will paid out as follows IF we sell out (80 people):
A Division - Top 4 paid - $400, $300, $200, $100
B Division - Top 4 paid - $200, $150, $100, $100
If we do not sell out, then the payouts will be reduced.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT AND DETAIL for EACH Tournament:
Max Matchplay Qualifying/Strikes Finals Side Tournament: Standard published IFPA rules for a Max Matchplay and then a Strikes tournament for the finals.
Beat the Clock Qualifying/Amazing Race Finals Side Tournament: Standard published IFPA rules for a Matchplay Tournament (using beat the clock timing) and for an Amazing Race Tournament. See details on the matchplay page for this tournament (when available).
Main Event Qualifying: QUALIFYING is "group matchplay style" on Saturday. This means you'll be playing in four player groups on multiple machines. There will be 10 rounds withe 2 games per round.
*** THE MAIN EVENT IS AN IFPA CERTIFIED EVENT WITH 125% BOOST ***
Main Event Finals: FINALS is "Group Elimination/PAPA Style", which is similar to the above, but with lower performing players being eliminated as we go forward (until there's a winner).
This means you'll be playing in four player groups on multiple machines.
Top 24 in A will play in the finals. This WILL affect final standings.
The next 16 eligible players will play in the B finals. B Division playoffs is playing for money - they do NOT affect final standings (as per published IFPA rules).
The B Division is restricted as follows for this event:
No one in the top 1000 in the IFPA as of 9/12/2025 may play in the B Division -- so many of the top players are excluded from the B Division so that ANYONE CAN WIN!
There will NOT be a KIDZ FINAL / kids tournament at this event.
FOOD:
I'm looking at getting a food truck or something similar, but feel free to bring your own food and drink as well.
PARKING:
Please see the parking picture included in the event pictures.
Please park in the blue areas and absolutely avoid the red areas. Do not block any driveways or through traffic. All of the blue areas are not next to people's houses and shouldn't interrupt residents. If I've missed any spots that you would think would be a nuisance to residents, please do not park there.
