Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: May 13, 2018

This is an official Stern Army Iron Maiden Launch party tournament! THIS WILL BE THE FIRST IRON MAIDEN ON LOCATION IN NYC! Come play the newest game designed by Keith Elwin.

We will have prizes from Stern Pinball including Iron Maiden translites, a trophy from the IFPA, Oskar Blues beer giveaways and cash prizes. Greg Poverelli and Nick Zendejas as tournament directors. Tournament registration starts at 1:30 PM and the first round starts at 2. Feel free to get there early to practice.

Format: 7 rounds of match play qualifying 5-3-2-1 scoring. At the end of the 7 rounds the top 8 players will advance to the finals. At this time there will be a one hour dinner break, followed by the side tournament final 4. Immediately after that the main event finals will commence as PAPA style 3 game sets - where EACH round must have 1 game of Iron Maiden.

Payout is to the top 4 finishers.

The side event is a non IFPA sanctioned launch style high score competition. All players get 2 attempts on Iron Maiden throughout the day. Unused entries need to be completed during the dinner break. The top 4 will play a 1 game final to determine the winner. Payout is to the top 2. The winner will get a Iron Maiden translite.

All final decisions are that of the tournament directors, who will be utilizing the PAPA IFPA ruleset.
